We have had quite a few highlights this week, and thought you would like to see some pictures of us learning how to observe during an art activity. And then of course the fun day we had with Ms V's birthday!
Thank you Ms Marija for teaching us how artists can observe an object to draw or paint. We were able to find the shape of our animal breathing buddies, and then draw them directly on paper as big as we could, with a permanent marker. That was quite challenging!
Ms V had the best birthday ever! Thank you to each and everyone of you for making this day so special. Thank you to my students for making beautiful birthday cards and for the flowers! And thank you for the lovely gift - I am looking forward to spending the vouchers at Parkway Parade.
Today we will bring home our portfolios to share with family. During the holidays we would also love to read to family, and maybe have mom, dad, granny, grandpa read to us. Please ask your child which strategies they are using to help them be SUPER READERS!
