On Monday we enjoyed the K2 Adventure Games and practiced our UWCSEA skills by being good self managers, collaborative team players and demonstrating resilience. Thank you to our parents AND grandparents for supporting us!
We continue to be excited about our passions, and enjoy sharing them with family and friends. A very special thank you to Lara's grandfather for sharing his passion about bird watching, and all the different strategies needed to be successful in bird watching. Ms V was very surprised at how much K2AvS students know about birds.
Tuesday was another exciting outing to the International Mother Tongue presentations where we learned how to greet one another and say the names of different colours in a variety of languages.
Thank you Ms Barb for teaching us how to log on to myON on the iPads. We each have our own username and password which is on a sticker in the back of our reading logs. We enjoy looking at all the new books to choose from.
And another amazing surprise on Thursday afternoon was when our Mystery Reader, Mr Dave (Summer's dad) walked in to read a story to us about how we can take care of one another and be good friends. TWO LITTLE BUGS by Mark and Rowan Sommerset. Thank you Dave!
Our week cannot be complete without spending time in the kitchen with our wonderful moms (and sometimes dads) on a Friday afternoon. Thank you Ms Mel and Ms Sneha for saving the day for us! We really enjoyed the delicious apple muffins WITH choc chips inside them.
There are quite a few slots open, so please look at our google doc, sign up for Mystery Reader and cooking on a Friday, and make us happy little people.
