Week 3

First of all a HUGE thank you to all our parents for taking time from their busy schedules to attend our settling in conferences. It was a pleasure talking about the first few weeks of school and how well our little ones have settled into the new school year.

We continue to talk about our Essential Agreements at school. Being safe and kind in what we say and do is our motto. We also read the book about "Kindness is Cooler, Mrs Ruler" to reinforce the importance of being kind and treating one another with respect. The teachers acted out the story in our K2 assembly this morning, and we all had a good laugh and really enjoyed the "performance".

We have completed our "counting caterpillars" in maths and we are so proud of the work we have done.

Our Discovery time in the pod and the classroom remains the favourite time of day!

We had a great time with our Grade 4 Buddies today, being Magic Material Detectives and taking photos of objects that are made of different materials. What a great way to kick off this exciting unit! Thank you Grade 4 Buddies for helping us with this project.

A reminder to bring library books back to class on Monday. We will go to the library to choose new books.
