Week 8

A very exciting week where we continued to learn, explore and make sense of the world. We started the week with Monday Round Square Service day. It was so much fun being a super hero and sharing the service we are passionate about. As a K2 community we used recycled material for our collaborative project in the pod. Please look at the iMovie in our K2 newsletter to see the exciting time we had. In class we had buddies from Grade 11 visit us. They helped us to make a mask to complete our super hero outfits, read with us, and brought in many other exciting activities to do. Thank you Grade 11 Buddies. This was a very special day for us!

Take a closer look at our beautiful masks....

Today we continued to explore how matter can change, and had a fun time in the kitchen observing the popcorn as it was popping in the microwave. After we read our poem about popcorn, we did some creative writing, getting in touch with our senses.

The Popcorn:
sounds like, feels like, smells like, tastes like.....

Last, but not the least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MS NORA! Thank you for always going the extra mile in our class, for loving us and always taking good care of us. Thank you to our wonderful parents for making Ms Nora's birthday so special. She can't wait to go shopping!

Enjoy spending quality time with friends and family and travel safely.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
