In K2AvS we continue to be amazed at all the wonderful experiences our children bring to school to share. Our passions have become so much more meaningful to us as we continue to research about it. We share the WOW moments with friends in class, measure and add during our Maths times by using Rekenreks, our iPads, and different manipulatives to support us in our learning. We are proud of our information books we are writing about our Passions, and enjoy practicing the different skills to be Super Readers! Many of us share our passion for swimming and just love the time we spend in the swimming pool during PE, exercising our swimming skills.
Grade 6 Buddies share our passion for reading by allowing us to read to them, and we also enjoy them reading aloud to us.
Thank you to Grade 1 students for sharing their learning about Readers Theatre with us. We could ask them questions about what they learned during this unit, and really enjoyed their performance. Thank you Grade Ones!
We always enjoy having visitors in class.... Ms V's friend, Karen came in to share her passion about photography, and took some great pics of us.
Another THANK YOU! To our friends in class who remembers to bring in fruit for our own K2AvS Fresh Fruit Friday. And thank you Ms Nora for cutting up the fruit into a yummy fruit salad.
